Anannya Parekh, a student of B.Tech, Aerospace Engineering, has been invited to represent India at the Girls G-20 Summit in Munich, Germany between June 16 and 20, 2017. The 21 year old Anannya from Chennai, aside from her academic achievements, is also passionate about women’s empowerment and was the founder of the early start up “The Inner Goddess Academy” (TIGA) with the objective of female labor force participation in India through mentorship and leadership solutions.
The dream of Anannya is for TIGA to be a playground for women to grow and develop with a view to becoming more employable global leaders. A trained Kathak dancer who loves public speaking, Anannya freelances as a graphic designer and investment consultant and her long term goals are to pursue an MBA and run an aircraft company someday.
