SRM University and Hannam University, South Korea continued their winning streak, by successfully concluding the third in the series of SRM - HNU Leadership Programs.
The leadership programme for young undergraduates of the Linton School of Global Business at Hannam University, from where 20 undergraduate students spend 4 weeks at SRM University, is designed to hone the leadership skills needed to engage with India in business, education and culture. The 4 week immersion programme covered basic Hindi language training and orientation to IT business development in India.
The third batch in the series spent four weeks at SRM University lapping up the many snippets of knowledge shared by both faculty and a team of “buddies”, students who paired with them in a bond of enduring friendship.
The relationship with one of Korea’s better known faces for higher education, Hannam University, goes beyond just student mobility. SRM has contributed academic resources to the India Centre established at Hannam University, designed to foster closer ties between the two rapidly emerging economies. Both institutions are well poised to take the partnership to even greater heights, to usher in the next generation of young leaders of the 21st century.
