Research Department:

Dr.T.Maiyalagan received his Ph.D in Physical chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and completed postdoctoral programs at the Newcastle University (UK), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and at the University of Texas, Austin (USA). Presently he is anAssociate Professor of Chemistry& Research Institute at SRM University, India.His main research interests concern new materials and their electrochemical properties for energy conversion and storage devices, electrocatalysts, fuel cells and biosensors.He has published numerous articles on the innovative design of the materials for energy conversion and storage. He is an expert in nanomaterial synthesis and electrochemical characterization. He has delivered lectures in many national and international forums and also edited a Fuel Cell book in Wiley.His research and collaborations have resulted in 70 papers in peer reviewed publications over 2990 citations and an h−index of 24. Many of his publications have been in high impact factor journals including Nature Communications, ACS Catalysis, Nano Energy, Journal of Materials Chemistry, and Nanoscale which points to the quality of his work and his contribution to energy materials research. More than 14 of his papers have been cited more than 50 times. These high level publications with a high impact are evidence of his professional passion and standing in the international community in the field of nanomaterials and electrochemistry.
