My research experience over the last yearshas stimulated a deep interest in designing and improvingmaterials with multifunctionalproperties for sorption,catalysis, watertreatment and fuel cellapplications. I have experience working with nanoporous solids, clays, grapheneand its derivatives, carbon dots, inorganic nanoparticles andnano-zerovalent iron which are the soughtaftersystemsdriving remarkable avenues for the contemporary research.
- Designing novel materials using sustainable methods
- Paper derived functional materials
- Carbon dioxide capture using functionalized porous silica sorbents
- Green, yellow and red emitting carbon quantum dots with high colloidal stability
- High surface area graphene and graphene like materials
- Nanoscale ionic materials for batteries and fuel cells
