Aaruush’13 Day Two – Get Enthralled and Entertained
Aaruush'13 day two was a massive success with captivating events, informative workshops, an interactive unconference and an enthralling pro-show. The common registrations are progressing at a brisk pace and promise to significantly exceed the numbers that have been witnessed in the previous years. This was reflected in the participation in events, which were constant hubs of activity.
The second day of Aaruush’13 witnessed huge mass of participants for various events like Yuddhame, Bluebook, Magefficie, Presentatio, Konstruction. The other part of the participants were enthralled and excitedly took part in workshops like Bridge Design and Fabrication, Hactrack – Hactrack, and Transformerbotix.One such workshop was Hactrack, which had 1000+ participants.
Special Events like Dexter’s Mantra Reloaded, Robothon, Bell the Bull, Infinite Stakes also kept the audience in pace of entertainment. Dexter’s Mantra Reloaded and Infinite Stakes events were the most entertaining events with more than 500+ participants.
The night without doubt belonged to the PRO Show of Aaruush'13. Whether it was the sheer awesomeness of the Laser Show, the mesmerizing opulence of international performer J-Walt's Spontaneous Fantasia for the first time in India, making objects come to life. The second one was the pure jaw-drop worthiness of Vilas Nayak's Speed Painting, portraying Steve Jobs, the Chancellor of SRM University and a upside-down poster of M. S. Dhoni. He summed up with a portrait dedicated to Aaruush team. The laser shows were on various topics; the main one based on the evolution and was the crowd favourite.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Unconference dealing with the heightened role of Social Media in our day to day lives and the ramifications of the same. The unconference saw immense amounts of interaction with esteemed panelists sharing their thoughts with eager students. The participants were highly enthralled by the experienced and judicious views received in the event that saw the topic transcend boundaries, stretching from boons and banes of social media to legalities in the constitution and sensitive topics as such as objectionable content and advert of the freedom. The audience was lucky enough to receive a special presentation on the neural aspects and impacts of social media by one of the panelists, Dr. Raghav Srinivasan.
