The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering has established the Center of Excellence in Factory Automation in Collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric, India.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed with Mitsubishi Electric for a joint training center which is aimed to train the students in the automation field and create industry-ready trained professional. This industry-readiness and relevance of skills will attract better career opportunities for the students. The center is equipped with various modules of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Servo systems and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). Our faculties are trained on these modules with hands-on experience by subject matter experts from Mitsubishi Electric. The center offers skill development program on factory automation to the interested students.
