Only those candidates who are NEET (UG) qualified and eligible for University Level Mop-up for the admission year 2018, as per the DGHS norms, are invited to register with SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for SRM IST Mop-up counselling for BDS admissions at SRM Dental College, Ramapuram, Chennai at the following link:

Candidates are required to submit the following ORIGINAL certificates along with two photocopies at the time of Admission.

• NEET (UG) Admit Card issued by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
• NEET (UG) Score card issued by CBSE.
• NEET (UG) Rank card issued by CBSE.
• Date of birth Certificate: 10th Mark sheet/12th Mark sheet/ Birth certificate. (Must have Completed the Seventeen years of the age on or before 31st December 2018).
• Class X Mark Sheet (both sides of Mark Sheet should be photocopied).
• H.S.C. Mark sheet (both sides of mark sheet should be photocopied) or any other equivalent examination of the first appearance.
• Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of H.S.C. or equivalent courses.
• Conduct Certificate.
• Permanent Community Certificate Card- if applicable.
• Ten (10) recent Passport size photographs: same as affixed on the NEET application form.
• AADHAR card. (Proof of Identity)
• Migration Certificate- if applicable.
• NRI documents to verify NRI status.
• Hepatitis B Vaccination Recent Certificate (Compulsory)
• Measles Vaccination Certificate (Compulsory)

Note

Candidates without Original certificates/ Documents shall not be allowed to take Admission. Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other College/ Institute/ University and come for Admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the College/ Institute/ University” will not be allowed to take Admission

Important instructions:

• Only candidates who are in the list published by DGHS for University level Mop-up counseling will be considered for counseling.
• You MUST report to the counseling at least half-an-hour before the scheduled time. Request for change of date and / or time will not be entertained.
• You will lose your turn if you are not able to report for the counseling before 11:30 AM on 28^th August 2018.
• Mop-up counseling will be done as per the inter se merit based on the All India Rank in NEET (UG)
• You will lose your turn if you are not able to submit all of the documents mentioned above and pay the first-year tuition fee right at the time of counseling, even though you satisfy all other eligibility criteria and you have a higher rank order.
• In case you are not able to accept the offer of admission for whatsoever reason (personal or technical or administrative), you need to submit a letter of forfeiture, in the prescribed format that will be issued to you by SRM IST at the venue. The letter of forfeiture once signed and submitted by you will be binding and cannot be revoked at a later period of time. The university, then, has the absolute right to offer the admission to another candidate in the order of rank.
• The counseling will stop as and when the number of seats available is filled and hence there is no guarantee that the counseling will extend for the entire day.
• Any vacant seats arising out of subsequent cancellations will be filled from the waitlist.
• There will not be any refund of tuition fees if the candidate withdraws after the admission
• Seats earmarked for NRI category will be filled under domestic category if there are no sufficient number of candidates under NRI registered with SRM IST.
• Any false declaration or submission or misrepresentation or impersonation, if found at any point of time, will make the admission NULL and VOID.

Tuition Fee

Annual Fee – Rs. 4,00,000/- (Four Lakh rupees)
One time non-academic Registration Fee Rs:10,000/-

The Tuition fees can be paid either by way of DD or through ONLINE.  

HOSTEL

For Both Boys and Girls

• Double sharing (Room rent alone) - Rs. 67,000/- ( For Non-AC)  For each occupant per year
• Annual Mess fee for BDS: Rs. 60,000/-   
• Hostel fee to be paid as Demand draft only.
• Demand draft to be taken in favour of ‘SRM HOSTELS’ -Payable at Chennai

Book fee

      Book fee -Rs.40000/- ( for first year as DD Payment only)

      Demand draft in favour of ‘THE BOOKS & EQUIPMENTS STORE’ – Payable at Chennai
