Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a SERB, DST (ECR) funded research project entitled “Studies on the role of suppressor proteins of chilli leaf curl virus in the development of leaf curl disease” (Sanction order: ECR/2017/000562).
Fellowship: Rs 25,000 + HRA as per DST norms (M.Tech/MSc with NET)
Rs 16,000+ HRA as per DST norms (MSc without NET)
Duration: 3 years till the completion of the project
Essential Qualification: M.Sc/M.Tech in Plant Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology
Desirable Qualification: Candidates with hands-on experience in advanced molecular techniques and a strong background in Plant virology. Candidates who are CSIR-NET/GATE qualified will be given preference.
