Jatin Verma (BTech, E&I Department, 4th year, shares his experience of getting an opportunity from SRM University, to work on an Internship in Taiwan. He explains about his working experience on copters and also as a member of Student Coter Research Organisation (SCRO).

SRM University has always created bonds across the globe and this time it was with Taiwan's one of the biggest university, National Formosa University. The Dean of National Formosa University, Taiwan visited our SRM University, Kattankulathur campus and visited labs where students work together to do research and gain knowledge apart from their general courses. The respected dean visited the lab of team SCRO and appreciated the potentials of the students working in the lab gaining new levels. Three students from SRM University: Jatin Verma (Final Year, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering), Mohamed Jassim M A J (Final Year, Aerospace Engineering) and Muthu Krishnan P (Third Year, Aerospace Engineering) from the team SCRO were selected for a prestigious research internship at National Formosa University. The internship was for the duration of one and a half months from June to July 2017. The entire internship was sponsored by NFU and each one was awarded a scholarship of 100 USD for their work. The research Internship was on the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (VTOL Hybrid UAV) under the guidance of Prof. Chang Yan Lin and all the three students of SRM University performed at their cent best for the time period and gained a lifetime experience from the internship provided by the University to them. We look forward to having more students from SRM University to join the league started by three extraordinary students and attain a lifetime experience.
